Our Teen Library Council (TLC) provides teens ages 14-17 with the opportunity to make a positive difference in our community and have input in the way the Library serves teens. TLC meets the second Tuesday of every month from 4:30-5:30 p.m.
- Promote and help out at youth programs.
- Give back to the community through outreach projects.
- Create content for the Library's social media channels such as recommendations, reviews, playlists, and quizzes.
- Provide input for what programs teens need from the Library.
- Volunteer credit
- Skills and experience (this looks great on a college or job application!)
- New friends
- The chance to have a positive impact on your community.
Requirements & Commitment
- 14 to 17 years of age
- An e-mail address that you check regularly
- Attend the monthly meetings
- Sign up to assist in running Library events
- Spread the word about teen programs happening at the Library

- Fill out the pop-up two-question application.
- Submit your answers.
- You will receive emails notifying you if your answers are accepted, and then you may sign up for meetings.
